How We Compare: Our Methodology

Prices verified May 17, 2026 · Updated for 2026

Why we publish this

Every GLP-1 comparison site has affiliate relationships. So do we. The difference is that we tell you exactly how our rankings work, what we earn from providers, and how we prevent financial incentives from distorting our recommendations. No other comparison site in this space publishes a detailed methodology. We think that should change.

How we evaluate providers

We assess every GLP-1 provider on five weighted criteria:

Criterion Weight What We Assess
Pharmacy & Safety30%503A vs 503B sourcing, FDA inspection history, LegitScript status
Total Cost25%All-in monthly cost at maintenance dose, hidden fees, cancellation terms
Clinical Support20%Provider qualifications, check-in frequency, side-effect management
Patient Experience15%Onboarding speed, communication responsiveness, platform usability
Transparency10%Pricing clarity, pharmacy disclosure, realistic marketing claims

How we verify pricing

Pricing is verified by reviewing the provider's website enrollment flow as a prospective patient, checking all-in costs at starting and maintenance doses, and noting any membership, consultation, lab, or shipping fees. We verify pricing at least monthly and note the verification date on every article. If a provider's pricing changes between verifications, we update as quickly as possible.

We do not use pricing data provided by the provider's marketing team—we verify independently through the patient-facing enrollment process.

How we handle affiliate relationships

We earn a commission when readers click affiliate links on our site and complete qualifying actions (typically enrollment in a GLP-1 program). These commissions vary by provider and do not affect our rankings or editorial verdicts.

Specifically, our editorial process works like this: we evaluate and rank providers first, based on the criteria above. We then add affiliate links where available. If a provider we recommend doesn't offer an affiliate program, we still recommend them—we just don't earn from the referral. If a provider offers a high-commission affiliate program but scores poorly in our evaluation, they won't appear in our top picks.

Every page with affiliate links includes a disclosure notice at the top. Links marked "Paid link" are affiliate links.

What we don't do

We do not accept payment from providers for favorable reviews, rankings, or editorial placement. We do not publish fabricated testimonials or invented statistics. We do not claim that GLP-1 medications guarantee specific weight loss results—individual outcomes vary significantly. We do not present compounded medications as FDA-approved. We do not claim to provide medical advice—our content is educational and should supplement, not replace, guidance from a licensed healthcare provider.

How we handle provider issues

If a provider receives an FDA Warning Letter, we note it prominently in their listing and may downgrade or remove them from rankings depending on the severity. If we receive credible reports of patient safety issues, we investigate and update our content accordingly. We monitor the FDA Warning Letters database, LegitScript certification changes, and relevant legal proceedings.

Questions or corrections

If you believe any information on this site is inaccurate or outdated, or if you're a provider who believes your listing doesn't reflect current pricing or policies, contact us. We investigate all correction requests and update content promptly when warranted.
